Once again, Minerva SA Edible Oils and Food Enterprises participated in the International Food Exhibition SIAL Paris 2018, cementing its presence in the major foreign markets.
With export activities in 20 countries around the globe operating through extensive distribution networks, Minerva’s goal is to further increase both its target markets and its export basket, so its exports account for more than 15% of its total turnover.
At this year’s exhibition emphasis was placed on the company’s organic portfolio, expressing the company’s basic principles of respecting the environment and Greek producers, as well as product quality transparency. Fair-goers’ interest was piqued by products such as organic feta cheese, both in vacuum packaging and in the consumer-friendly packaged feta cubes, organic olive oil, as well as sustainable olive oil produced exclusively by best agricultural practices. New products were also presented, such as the new Mountain Regions Feta Cheese, with the traditional pungent flavour, as well as the complete new range of balsamic vinegars and glazes.
As Marketing Director Yiota Ilioupoulou says: “The growth of exports is a mainstay of Minerva strategy and we are methodically working towards utilising the great opportunity given to us by the international market. We are promoting our export basket, spearheaded by Greek olive oil, feta cheese, vinegar products and organic products, and aim at introducing the authentic flavour and quality of Greek products and the Mediterranean diet to consumers around the world.”
