Banana peels are rich in potassium and can be used as an organic fertilizer in lieu of chemicals, thus helping plants bloom or bare fruit; we either plant the entire peel in the soil, next to the plant’s roots, or just leave it on top of the flower pot to decompose. In order to avoid the insects that may be attracted to it due to decomposition, we can place the peel in a blender with some water and pour the now melted peel on our plant.
