In order to clean the inside of a glass bottle with a narrow mouth, we pour into the bottle a few tablespoons of uncooked rice. We then add a few drops of dishwashing detergent and add a cup of water. We shake the bottle and rinse. While shaking the mixture, the rice will effectively clean the bottle’s interior.
In order to clean a bottle that once contained olive oil, we pour in coffee sediment while it is still hot. We then shake well and rinse.
