Commercial Finance Analyst

MINERVA S.A. Edible Oils & Foods Enterprises, one of the leading FMCG companies in the Greek and International market, is looking to hire a qualified professional. The role reports to the Commercial Finance Manager, and will be based in Metamorfosi, Attica.

The Commercial Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the commercial organization. The role contributes to decision-making by delivering accurate financial insights, evaluating business performance, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards to support commercial decision‑making.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights to commercial and finance stakeholders.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other business partners to evaluate pricing, promotions, trade spend, and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems, tools, and reporting platforms.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities related to revenue, trade spend, and commercial performance.
• Analyze commercial performance trends and support risk/opportunity assessments.
• Support data-driven decision-making by delivering accurate financial insights.
• Support the Commercial Finance Manager in preparing presentations and materials for management reviews.
• Support the implementation of SAC as a key user

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is essential (Master’s degree is considered an asset)
• 2–3 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably within FMCG or a multinational environment
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis principles.
• Excellent knowledge of MS- Office environment
• Εxperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TM1)
• Εxperience with BI tools ( SAC, Power BI or similar) is a strong plus.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
