Engineering Supervisor

MINERVA S.A. Edible Oils Enterprises, one of the leading FMCG companies in the Greek and International market, is looking to hire a qualified professional, for the position of Engineering Supervisor.  The role reports to Chief Engineering Manager, and will be based in Schimatari Viotia.

• Plan and lead the daily activities of the maintenance team
• Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment to produce quality specs and optimize the factory cost
• Utilize preventive/predictive maintenance systems to reduce downtimes
• Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and encourage safety culture amongst engineering employees
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures set by the company, and the quality and safety of products within the set standards in the responsibility area
• Actively participate in the processes for upgrading production systems and ensure that these processes are maintained in his team with the ultimate goal of increasing productivity

• University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2 – 4 years of working experience in industrial environment preferably in maintenance / engineering
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Familiar with Lean & TPM tools and technics
• Excellent knowledge of MS- Office environment
• Being a team player
• Strong communication skills
• Taking personal responsibility for achieving results
• Striving for continuous improvement and excellence
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility & resourcefulness while adjusting to changes
• Time management and multitasking skills

• Salary pay range: 2.000€-2.700€ (based on the years of experience, relevant experience & educational background
